Warlingham U10's

Under 10’s sees a major step up in the type of Rugby we play, gone are the tag belts as the game now gets much more physical. We are finally allowed to tackle, ruck and maul, we can even dive over the line to score tries. We have scrums and lineouts though at this stage these are still uncontested as we must make sure we learn to do these correctly and safely.

Last season we had a squad of around 25 children turning up every Sunday but our number has grown to in excess of 40 girls and boys wanting to be the next Jonny Wilkinson or Jason Robinson. Besides regular coaching sessions at home we also partake in joint training sessions and competitive matches against other local clubs and the season culminates in the Surrey Festivals in April.
