Warlingham U 11’s 2008-2009 Season.

The change in this years regulations has presented the squad with some challenges to the start of the season and their game play but the 35 boys and girls that have registered again with the club are more than up to the job in hand and have all started with the usual fire in their belly and enthusiasm for the sport.

The 4 new boys that have registered with the club are a great addition to the squad and show great promise already.

Last season was a mixture of ups and downs with some good wins and epic battles with other clubs at our age group, not all the games went our way but the Saracens and the Spartans held their own and “rocked” a few clubs that they met on the way through the season.

Last season ended with a great end of season party for the mini section with squad members being given the following awards;

Player of the year; Josh Newman

Most improved player; Alex Kelly.

Certificate of Merit; Elizabeth Marner.

This years fixtures are loaded with regular competitive games, triangular games and 4 festivals which are always a great day for family entertainment and rugby.

If you have an under 11 year old who wants to enjoy playing rugby, have fun and win then get up to Warlingham RFC with the U-11’s, we have 5 dedicated coaches (as the photo clearly shows) and a squad of 35 who will gladly welcome any new members.

Coaching starts at 10 am till 12 every Sunday with a mid week coaching session from 6.45 till 7.45 and any new members are welcome to join.
