Welcome to the Under 11s -Season 2011/12
Welcome to the Under 11s and we hope you get a sense of what we are all about and decide to check us out because you will be certain of a friendly reception. We even make opposition teams feel at home, well off the pitch anyway! We always welcome anybody who shares our love and passion for the wonderful game of rugby.
We have over 25 boys and girls registered with us who all regularly turn up on a Sunday morning, come rain or shine, to enjoy learning how to play the game and to be a part of what we regard as the Warlingham family. As with most clubs, all the coaches are volunteers with varying degrees of experience; however, there are four things we are all dedicated to. Firstly, the safety and well being of all our players; secondly, that they learn how to play the game to their best abilities; thirdly, that they learn that rugby is not just about winning but is also about sportsmanship and how we conduct ourselves on and off the field of play and finally, and possibly the most important of all, that they have fun.
All six coaches are CRB checked and many have taken RFU coaching courses as well as first aid courses but we all recognise we are also learning along the way too. We also have a fantastically supportive group of parents who will always make any newcomers feel right at home.
So if you are thinking about finding a club for your child to play rugby, you are very welcome to visit us to see how we do things. Training is from 10am to 12pm every Sunday unless we are away at another club (please see fixtures list). Alternatively, why not give one of us a call to answer any questions you may have?
